This residential villa, designed and built for Mr. Ramzi Halawani, rises from the slopes of Badghan in the Aley district of Mount Lebanon. Spanning 350 m², the completed project combines light-coloured stone walls with contemporary volumes, delivering a refined hillside residence that integrates seamlessly with the natural terrain. Every exterior detail — from the stacked stone cladding to the wide terracing — was selected to complement the panoramic setting while achieving a timeless architectural character.

Private Swimming Pool

Full-length pool extending along the villa's terrace level, with contemporary paving and landscaped surrounds designed to frame the valley views.

Multi-Level Terrace Layout

Cascading outdoor terraces on each floor create distinct living zones and maximise the depth of view across the Aley landscape.

Architecture & Exterior Design

The Halawani villa presents a modern interpretation of mountain residential architecture, using light-toned stone as the primary cladding material across all facades. Large format windows and glazed terrace doors draw natural light deep into the interior and open the living spaces toward the valley below. A private swimming pool runs along the main terrace level, bordered by contemporary landscaping that softens the transition between built structure and natural hillside. The overall composition balances solidity and openness — a villa that reads as both rooted to its site and modern in character.

Group Four's Role & Delivery

Group Four Engineering & Contracting delivered the Halawani residence across a two-year construction programme in Badghan, managing all phases from structural groundwork and concrete frame to exterior finishes and pool installation. The hillside setting in Aley required careful site preparation and adapted foundation engineering to ensure structural stability on sloped terrain.
